That happened to me about 3 years back. Got a AAA tow home and a used part from Yaofeng. Had my indy do the work as I was traveling. He said he'd never seen the bracket die, but I have to figure I couldn't be alone.
I'm about to do my pulleys and belt in prep for a long road trip. As fun as it is to post about this stuff, I really don't want to have to do this on the road. I have a new belt and $75 of pulleys is worth the piece of mind.
