I also have a '01 9-3 convertible which is great fun, but my '95 9k just feels "right" when I get back into it after driving the 9-3 for a few days.
Had an interesting convo with two of the service managers at my dealer last week. They both said they don't regularly see too many 9000s in for dealer service anymore, but the handful of owners (like me) who do bring them in aren't afraid to spend $$$$ keeping them in tip-top shape because they love them so much. They have a customer with a '96 9k who is the head of a medical department at a prestigious Boston hospital...guy probably makes almost 7 figures. That's dedication.
