weston,

"I see oil coming out of bolt for timing chain tensioner.
Oil seems to come out and spray EVERYWHERE. Major puddle producer."

There IS supposed to be a seal under the 27mm hex "spacer". DO NOT TIGHTEN with the center 13mm chain tensioner bolt in place.

You will need a 3/8" ratchet, 3/8" extension, 3/8" 13mm six point socket, 3/8" female to 1/2" male adapter, 1/2" 27mm six-point socket and a 3/8" torque wrench.

Carefully remove the 13mm center bolt, and the compressed spring and plastic insert it pressurizes.

Remove the "spacer" 27mm hex tensioner.

Remove the seal under it.

Clean the surfaces.

Use a small screwdriver to disengage the rachet lock and collapse the tensioner extension. NOTE: IF the ratchet is fully extended your timing chain may be stretched enough to require replacement.

Fit the seal on the 27mm tensioner base.

Refit the 27mm tensioner base and torque to 45 ft-lbs.

Install the tensioner spring, plastic shoe, and 13mm bolt.

Torque the 13mm bolt to 16 ft-lbs.

Start the engine and check for oil leaks.

TA-DAHHHHHH!!

You might also consider painting a white line on each leg of the crank pulley towards the pulley bolt Each line crosses the rubber sandwiching the inner and outer rings of the harmonic balancer. Separated lines indicate it's time to replace the crank pulley.

Happy Trails!
