At the very least, do take it to a machine shop to have it re-surfaced and checked for trueness. Any machine shop will do this for dirt cheap. For a bit more, you can have it pressure tested for cracks, but it's pretty rare that a Saab head would crack. I tend to leave heads well enough alone at this point, bu if it's got mega miles or something you can have the valve guides and seals done. You can do this yourself, but you'll need extra tools and it will be a lot easier for the machine shop. I wouldn't bother lapping the valves (either professionally or yourself).
