How are you doing on this? Always appreciated and very helpful for those that come after you, to post if you did get it running what the results were and how you fixed it.
If the car cranks, and if you crack the banjo bolt on the fuel rail and get sprayed with a strong fuel stream, chances are it is the CPS.
if you have a timing light, you can test to see if the plugs are getting signal TO them (as in you are trouble shooting the DI here) by putting the inductive connector around any of the four wires on the connector that is on the side of the battery. There are two gray/gray plastic connectors that slide down into keyed keyhole like holders on the metal that is the side of the battery holder. one has only four wires, an orange, green, and I forget the two others (but you can look at the DI connector and see them there too), you can slide that connector up off the keyed holder and get some slack, push the outer safety shield down and get enough room to put your connection from your timing light around any of the four wires (they are associated with plugs 1-4) and get a friend to crank the car. you should see the timing light flash, if not move to another wire, check all four just because. If you don't get any flashes then the CPS is very suspect.
Also, if your friend lets go of the key, NOT turn it off but just lets it spring to the RUN position, you should see very rapid blinking of the timing light. This is the burn off function that cleans the plugs. and at least shows that works. I think that the CPS has to work for that to happen but can't remember, so go with the first test to be sure.
