"Is Easy and usually V effective." Easy yes, effective, yes, generally briefly only.

I repeat, do not rebuild these units. There have been umpteen zillion tales of woe on the subject of clutch hydraulics on this board and the only relief has been the use of new genuine Saab parts. No one knows why.

Jeff, from the sound of things, your master is only one part of your overall "replace me soon" clutch symptoms, as you properly note. Whenever you do that replacement, just give it all new Saab hydraulic bits for maximum security.
