I hadn't had his experience with the servo, but it makes sense. Since you already have the ACC and radio out you can get in there and fiddle with it. That's what I did.
On my daughter's '95 I just moved the arm attached to the servo on the air box, directly forward of the ACC. I set it to full heat. I left the one under the aquarium alone. She went back to Maine with lots of heat and I found a good ACC to replace the bad one. Put it in a couple of months later when she was home again. Still working fine 3 years later. Just be careful moving the flap arm. You DO NOT want to break it off!
If you need to replace the servo motor you'll have a bigger job, but I think people have posted a couple of procedures here for that job. Do a search.
