Well, what I meant was early 90 and not 90s.
They way I interpret the part numbers is that it seems to be a cutoff of part numbers in mid 90 or so with transmission number D41692. The older ones use the slave you listed and the newer ones the part number I listed. So late 1990 to 93 use the number I listed.
It is differences between the two and that is also seen by that the whole bell housing has a different part number with that serial number cutoff.
So check your transmissions serial numbers and see if that can shed some light on it.
