Stephenie,
Almost any body shop that performs collision repair is capable of restoring functionality to the rear strut towers. Get estimates from the three best Better Business Bureau rated body shops in your area. The rusty rear doglegs can be done inclusively for about $1000.
As far as the exhaust is concerned, compare parts prices from rock auto with local custom exhaust shops. The downpipe and catalytic converter unit costs as much or more than the cat-back remainder. With labor, that too might approach another $1000. (You might only need the cat-back portion.)
Electrical gremlins can sometimes be tolerable- -usually the result of high resistance caused by corroded connections. Electrical components are the pricey part. Shop flea-bay or "car-part" website to minimize financial impact. (Caveat: Don't buy a used fuel pump, purchase a new pump motor.)
Hopefully the A/C will only need a recharge. Get an estimate before your checking account gets kidnapped. Compressors are expensive, so look for a used one WITH a guarantee.
Finally, the responses to your concern are mostly on point. After all, a known quantity is more easily dealt with than a $5000 explosive device.
Run what you brung!!
Happy SAABing!
