I think it's on Townsendimports site that I read the advice to let your starter motor crack that bolt free on C900s. I did it that way also on my 9000.
What you do is, take a socket to fit it, 27 mm = 1 1/16", then I jammed a 1/2" breaker bar up into the frame of the car, forward kind of under the window washer tank where there's kind of a hollow pocket, and with the DI cassette unplugged, just hit the starter for a second. Should crack the bolt free, then it will spin out easily.
I happen to own a compressor and an air impact wrench and all I did to retighten it was, put it on with the impact wrench set to the max. My car's automatic and no easy way to lock it that I could see. I can't remember why I didn't use the impact wrench to take it out but maybe it wouldn't touch it and I had to use the starter.
