Dead memory seat reset

The memory drivers seat in the 96 CS (why does CS has a memory seat?) suddenly stopped moving, nothing worked, fuses were OK. The first issue was how do you remove the seat to get to the control module etc which are under the seat. The rear seat rail bolts were covered by the seat, and to get to them the seat had to be moved forward. Fortunately the for-aft seat motor is to the rear of the seat and accessible if the rear seat cushion is removed. Remove 2 screws and the motor is out. Note: do not run the motor when it is not mounted to the seat, doing so will mess up the seat position sensor to seat position relationship. I made a "motivator" circuit (per Larry West) attached it to the motor, installed the motor, and the seat would move for-aft.
Prior to working on the seat, both seat fuses had been removed and left out over night. On a hunch, I installed both fuses and tried the seat controls, the seat moved and has been working fine since. Guess the controller software locked up, and a night without power let it reset. Note: Removing the fuses one at a time did not get the seat moving. Apparently both of them had to be removed for some time, for a reset to occur.
