I thought in an earlier post I specifically said that TCS light was not part of the LHM equation, but perhaps it was a different thread. having the TCS light on blinking says failure, having it on Solid says it needs to be calibrated. BTW, that calibration requires a TECH-2 as well as a functioning cruise control.

Also, ABS functionality is different between the autobox and the 5 speed. one chops the throttle, the other applies brakes, and of course if you *don't* have ETS then it's even a different ball game. My two 1992 9000CDT Autos are both, as I believe all 1992's are (but could be wrong) drive by wire. My 1994 5 speed 9000 aero is ALSO drive by wire, but my 1996 9000 Aero 5 speed is NOT. And finally I have a 1994 9000 Aero that is likewise not drive by wire. the 1992 9000 turbo that we race in Houston WAS an auto with ETS, but they swapped in a five speed, and I sourced the non-ETS throttle body and cable and we put that in, as well as some electronics too. I, thankfully, was not part of the actually surgery on that, it was done poorly but eventually did work. Oh, don't take the Yellow alarm box out, the car won't start.

there is a great document floating around from one of the countries in Europe maybe, great information on the items we are discussion, as well as the 32:5 section on the Saab docs. made my head hurt reading it night after night to trouble shoot an issues with one of my 1992's . Also got to talk to a couple of Saab Masters that I've known for awhile, they both remembered CUT the orange wire.... and that would fix the problem with an ASR computer that was not allowing the car to start... but that's another story.

((rumor has it that you can slave the left side front and rear wheel sensor signals together, and do the right side likewise, as the ABS is left to right side, and the LHM mode uss same side. But I haven't done that myself))
