This is a recurrent story here. Saab claims one should not use a black DI on red DI cars, yet several people here, including some with extensively modified engines have done so with no issues. And my indy, who services Saabs almost exclusively, has encountered no issues doing this for many of his customers.
You can't run a red DI in a black DI car, but you can do it the other way.
