Hello all,
After a sputtering halt on the interstate and a tow ride back to the house, I used Ari's no-start checklist to determine why my 94 Aero would crank and crank without starting and came to the conclusion that it was the fuel pump. I replaced the fuel pump assembly today (along with the fuel filter and main relay) and it keeps doing the same thing.
Jumping fuses 14 to 22 still does nothing - I hear no sound from the fuel pump at all. The spark plugs are still dry as a bone even after cranking for a long time. The pump relay seems to check out fine using Ari's list. It does not appear to be the DI or the control module.
What could this be? The only thing that I can think of is the wiring to the fuel pump, and I have no idea where to start with that. The connector at the pump appears fine visually. Help is much appreciated.
