Spun bearings don't just happen, and depending on the cause you may have a simple job ahead or one that's not worth it.
If oil dropped and you lost oil pressure I'd say don't bother with that block.
If you had it apart and some assembly slipup pinched that bearing, that's another matter. If you caught it quickly, the rest of motor might be fine and that one bearing your only problem.
If the engine ran low on oil the entire balance shaft chain and sprocket section suffers badly, which in turn means metal fragments in the oil pump - - a lot of work and parts costs to clean and replace what's needed. Pistons can also get worn, scuffing the bore as well as ruining the piston. Major bucks there.
There are good sound relatively low mile engines in junkyards that may not even need rebuilding, just new oil pump seal and o-ring, maybe new head gasket as preventive maintenance.
I was ready to buy such a motor (150K miles) a year ago, had it all freed up, then a tree fell on the car I was going to put it in and I took the insurance payout instead. Junkyard crushed the car soon after. Price would have been nominal, maybe $150-$200. I'd have swapped them the junk motor so they wouldn't lose weight.
Make sure to get correct motor for your year, changed I believe it is 1994. Local indys may offer advice or have a donor car stashed somewhere.
