Thanks Ray. My hose was part of the package deal with the Walbro pump. I bought a Gates submersible hose for my dad's 2001 9-5 pump replacement and no problem for years. Could it be the hose? Ugh! Would that cause the pump to shut down or drown some how? I even double asked about this when purchasing the kit. Will do some more buzz checking tonight. I still wonder why I hear a buzz at ON but not while jumping fuse 14. I know if you have a bad CPS that it is bypassed during start ON so the pump will operate initially but not during cranking (learned on the forum). Looks like I may be heading towards pulling the pump assembly.
