I did the governor seals too and healed the car back to brisk shifts. I did the head gasket and rebuilt turbo also over the last 1-1/2 years. Nat was a great help on the phone and the governor seal repair was one of the most satisfying ever!To think some 9000 automatics were junked due to two rubber seals and a gasket is a crime!
As to your current issue, I would hammer down the floor board from the interior to close the crack as tightly as possible and then get out JB Weld putty. I would also paint some rubberized coating underneath on any bare steel. If you can reach around, maybe you can squash the putty from top and bottom - especially if there is enough of a gap to come through the crack? JB Putty sets up in 10 minutes and can be controlled much more easily than liquid. Good luck!
