If it's loose, you have a vacuum leak. Playing with the AIC hose to spray cleaner in probably made the leak worse, and you are now seeing the effect as a poor idle. Unlike dref, I have had very good luck with silicone hoses, but I use high quality, thick walled material from hosetechniques.
First thing I would do is JB Weld the loose hose nipple and try it again. I'd also complete the hose replacement - the hose to the boost gauge only goes to a hose nipple in the "aquarium"; it passes through a fitting then there is another piece under the dashboard that is not subject to the same underhood heat degradation - I left that piece alone.
