I have used both 185-65 and 195-60 for full size spares because I had them kicking around and those were the sizes I used on my 88 and 89. The well cover doesn't fully close, but it's not bad. I have 205-55 16 on my 96 and 98, but feel the spare is just that, a spare, and I'd feel more comfortable at highway speeds with an odd smaller tire than the donut.
