If you use the tire size calculator at the link, you can compare the "rolling" sizes of different tires. A 185/65-15 is within 0.7% of the rolling size of a 175/70-15 and is currently widely available. In terms of fitting into the spare tire well, the 185/65-15 is approximately 10 mm thicker than the 175/70-15 in my car (wider tread) - it should fit but I can't make any guarantee. Perhaps Dick T can comment if it fits in his car.
