They are straight threads, just put a tiny dab of rtv silicone on the sealing face.
Any air leak there would be unnoticeable, since all the 93 or later turbo cars are speed density and therefore only worry about the pressure in the intake along with temp... to sort fueling unlike a leak post turbo on a MAF ar where it would bias the mixture rich noticeable at low loads where there is a tinly amount of air movement compared......
