I would not expect changing the computer to have much if any effect. But I think in most cases the CSE and Aero cars have taller-geared transmissions which yield a little more MPG (assuming manual transmission). If you look at the EPA ratings, they're generally 1-2 MPG higher for the CSE and Aero than for the CS.
