Inspection is the thing driving me nuts on this car!
I just recently found out that it's old enough not to require emissions testing here (MA). So that means they don't plug into the OBD connector like they would on a newer car (or did on this car in the past).
But what I've tried to find out and can't is whether it can pass with the check-engine light on... that info doesn't seem to be available anywhere. If "no emissions testing" means they ignore the CEL, I could take it in and get a sticker tomorrow... well after I put the exhaust back on!
As-is the car seems to run and drive perfectly, and if you hook into the computer you can see the front O2 sensor cycling between low and high voltage. The only real issue as far as I'm concerned is that d**m light.
