I installed a UAC compressor when I rebuilt the AC system in my daily driver 9000 a few years ago. It has worked fine with no issues, though I would not expect it to last nearly 20 years like the original.
Note that UAC specifies PAG-100 oil for their compressor rather than the PAG-46 used by the original Sanden unit, assuming that's what you have. Since I replaced everything in my system except the evaporator (which I flushed out) it was not problem to start out with the correct amount of the specified oil.
Also be aware that if your original compressor failed in a manner where debris was discharged into the AC system you will need at a minimum to replace the condenser and drier and flush out the rest.
