The axle assemblies seem to be one piece. The drive shafts are a smaller diameter. The boot is permanently clamped on if I remember the 2 we put I a rusted retired 97 CSE. They seemed to work fine. Driven by an 80+ year old. Wish I could remember the Chinese company's name. It was 2.5 years ago. I did get a kick out of Germany on the box. Don't remember where the boot was made. Made me laugh when I found the grease was German.
