I had recently taken off the throttle cable at the linkage and after putting back it was idling high (cold idle still the same but increasing as it warms up). I then loosened the idle screw to lower the idle and it lowered a bit but it somehow caused the throttle plate to close too far and stick closed...so i turned it back....not sure if the high idle is related to the cable at all...its a 95 9000 2.3 with 195k miles and neglected just about everything could be replaced but i dont have the money to throw parts at it now. Thanks for any ideas you might have.
