One sure way to tell.

Armed with the part number, I'm guessing that you should be able to find a used pump in good working condition vs. buying a new one. The ABS in my 1989 Volvo 740 Turbo works fine, have tested it recently driving in the snow. Might even be the same part, as I doubt that SAAB developed their own system.
