Hi Friends,

I posted a few months back about some issues I was having with the ABS pump (it died). Since then, the car has been in the shop for a new pump installation. Unfortunately, the only option (new) costs more than the car is worth (around 1400 dollars), and I'm not getting much help from the mechanic in verifying which used parts might work.

Can someone possible offer a little guidance as to what used parts would be compatible? I bought the assembly out of a 1992, but the mechanic is saying that pump isn't the right part.

Here's what I have:

1991 9000 Turbo
Teves Mk2 Brake System

I've found a number of pumps out of a Buick Reatta for 200.00 or so dollars. I know that the brake accumulator can be swapped, but can the pumps be swapped as well? If not, would this one work, below:
