That doesn't help at all.The problem is the timing cover has cracked and there's a hole in it I only need to replace the timing chain cover. I know how to completely rebuild the motor I'm just trying to figure out if somebody has successfully been able to take the timing chain off and what procedure they used to do it. The customer doesn't have the money to take the whole motor apart. I would most certainly do it that way because it is the correct way.
