Electrical power woes 1 Saabers Like This Post! Posted by Robsaab9000 [Email] (#2613) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Robsaab9000) on Fri, 1 Nov 2019 20:01:06 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Where next do I go? It began with intermittant power drops (dash lights going out and voltage drops to battery voltage) lights came back and voltage steady at 13.9 - 14.0. The second time it occurred days later, I slapped the dash and power was restored.
Reading may posts, I pulled the dash lid and verified good grounds exists at the ground point. Drove fine for two days, then dropped again to battery voltage and has not returned to "normal".
So far, I replaced the alternator with a brand new unit; replaced both positive and ground battery cables. I have continuity at the infamous green wire at the alternator. I am at my wits end to this point. Where does that green wire terminate? It is super tight in a bundle and I hate disturbing it, BUT I need some resolution to get my CSE back in service.
Open to any suggestions
Thanks
