I put a Hepu in mine about 18 years ago and it's still going, so assuming no decrease in quality it's a good choice. I specifically remember thinking it seemed really high quality when I put it in (and I probably had higher expectations for aftermarket parts then than now lol). I do recall that pipe being a bit of a pain to get seated but no corrosion issues on it. I like to put a little silicone grease on o-rings like this, it's rubber safe and helps the o-ring slide into position and seat correctly, or at least lube it up well with coolant.
