Clutch Pedal Won't Come Back Up
Posted by Saaberite (more from Saaberite) on Tue, 30 Jun 2020 09:28:49
Hi fellow Saabers. A complete clutch job was completed on my 96 CS about 18,000 miles ago, changed out everything. The rotten clutch master cyl lasted maybe 2 weeks before the white plastic nipple broke & leaked out the fluid, the replacement did the same thing. Finally got 1 which looked like the original. It really never felt like the original. Sometimes I'd have to help the pedal back up & @ other times it worked great. Well now the pedal will hardly come off the floor without help, clutch is engaged almost immediately. I have bled the system, all worked great for a few miles, before it was clutch pedal back to the floor.
Could this be just a bad clutch master cylinder or something else? Thanks for all help.
