Chopped liver anyone? Done, and my wrist looks like chopped liver. Might have taken a little less time had it not taken a few hours before I realized I could pass my hand into the hole and turn the tool using wrist action (idiot); I used a build-up of extensions with a 1/4 inch extension at the screw end and of course took out the screws securing the defrost duct to squeeze between the duct and the fibre panel. I guided the tip of the torx with a fondue fork, all this trouble because I was in a hurry (hah!) and could not wait for the tool delivery. But the tool looks so nice if it arrives before I put back the servo I might just try to replace that third screw, if I can find it.
Thanks again, big-time.
Another question: I think the only problem was the motor pinion had wandered down the shaft until it no longer made contact with the reduction gears. In re-installing the motor, should the lever be in any particular orientation, at one of the other end of its travel for example?
OR does it not matter because calibration using the ACC buttons will restore correct flap orientation?
