I find this rather interesting as well, as I've upgraded my '93 9000 with the TD-04 19T Turbo, the 'heated pcv line' which ran from crankcase PCV to intake before turbo as well as coolant line from turbo pipe to intake failed on me, mixing the two, so I simply split it to two hoses, at the same time I added a 'catch can' into the PCV line.
After driving for a while, I started to notice a residue on the small PCV hose going to throttle body/intake manifold, it seems all connections are fine, but for some reason I am building quite a lot of pressure inside the crankcase/valve cover, that either is not able to escape fast enough or ??
Car runs GREAT (aside from needing to finish my mappings so it doesn't hit fuel cut at 1.54bar) I've also checked the check valve several times, and it's fine and pointed correct. Catch can seems to work as not a trace of residue inside the line or going into turbo, which is fairly common to see, catch can itself is also getting the residue coating on it, as well as the oil dipstick top/fill which I was wondering if a bad/worn gasket or spring in it, although I've never seen that before. Any ideas, comments, etc. would be appreciated. I'm just worried it may try to blow gaskets if that much pressure..
I have to reinstall it after fixing the plumbing, but oil pressure gauge read normal also when it was hooked up.
