You never know, my '97 CSE has over 360,000 miles and still runs strong. I've replaced the water pump twice in the nearly 11 years I've owned the car and both times the pump was still good, it was that danged pipe to the engine with the O-rings leaking. (Over a period of years the O-rings deteriorate and leak.)
