I'm the same acquired spares on ebay in the early 2000s. But didn't get any metal parts.
Tried to buy some fenders when they were still listed for sale at like $92. Tried and purchased Aero springs stocked in Sweden. No when the investigated the order false inventory. Took 3 months to get a refund.
