I don't know if it's any better or worse than G48 (blue), but G05 (yellow) used to be more available at auto parts stores than G48, so that's what I have used for a couple of decades already. Townsend Imports recommended G05 enthusiastically. I use G48 in my wife's BMW.

Just in case you thought that all modern European cars have compatible coolant, VW/Audi uses different specs which have changed over time: G11 (blue), G12 (violet), G12++ (Pink) and G13 (pale pink).
