Thanks for all the feedback guys! I'm glad it sounds like the old Saab blue stuff is G48 compatible. I'll just stick with a G48 then, since no need to fully flush a system that already has a know high quality coolant in it that's been changed at reasonable intervals in my view. I do remember that yellow Mercedes stuff. I guess like a lot of folks I used that for many years too, I can't remember why I switched to the Saab stuff at some point but I'm assuming it was due to availability.
