My best guess Mr. Anonymous is that you are in Dallas, TX, USA. I live in Chicago and have owned three 1994 9000s and some parts are getting more difficult to find in the USA. During the pandemic I started buying many parts from the UK as 9000s seem better supported there and shipping FROM the UK is pretty reasonable (expensive TO the UK). Most wear parts are readily available if you know where to look.
That said, the 1993 model cars can be a problem. As far as I know, all 1993s have SAAB's Traction Control System (TCS) which can be a real pain to sort out - and be quite problematic if in error mode. Also, 1993 was the final year of what is referred to as the "long block" engine, which was replaced by a shorter version on the 1994 cars to also fit into the redesigned 900 cars. As such, some parts are unique for this year.
Good luck with your project.
