Clarion eq/cd - broken hearted

I need alittle help here- The eq/cd in my 94 cde is driving me crazy!! When I turn on the radio it takes alittle while until the eq/cd comes on. Here is what I have done- Checked all fuses and connections. The lights to it come on but no sound(unless the volume is turned all the way up). I unplugged the stock amp and the rear speakers did not work so to me the amp is working fine. This thing just turns on. It could be a smooth road or bumpy. I cannot recreate the problem at will. The cd player is working fine except it will not eject my disc. When I press the eject button the power flashes and nothing happens. When I pull the eq/cd out of the sleeve I get prompted for a code on the the head unit. Anyway to bypass the eq/cd? I really like this stock system and do not want to put a new one in. I have read that Clarion will fix these but I do not know how to contact them. Any help or ideas would be fantastic. Thanks
