Have you gone through the standard adaptation procedure? A couple of full throttle accelerations from as high gear as possible between 2000 and 3500 rpms. Don't know if your car is an auto or man, but on a manual car adaptation occurs between 2750 and 3250 rpms. You want to pass that rev range during as long time period as possible, at full throttle. Ideal conditions are a couple of repeated runs in 5th, with a fully loaded car and uphill...
