I'm just under 1/3 tank with gas but info. gauge says I can only drive 0 more miles- does anyone know how the sender tells the car this information? Do I need to put more gas in to reset this "miles to empty" function? Is there something I can clean or wiggle to fix?
I wish this function was accurate but it is not vital. Perhaps one of you know the details of this instrumentation. The gas level gauge was reading 1/4 tank low for some time- but is accurate now--it's just the miles to empty mis-reading now. Thanks for any insight.
