Motor mounts?

Yesterday I replaced the swaybar bushings on my 90 9kt (what an improvement in ride!!). It required removing the back half of the wheel arch plastic liner thing (what a PIA). Well anyways, I'd been reading alot about motor mount failure here on the BB, and I cleaned around my rear Mount , the one with the oil fiter above it, and I was able to just pick out a large rubber ring that was obviously supposed to be part of the motor mount. Looks like I should do mounts soon? I used a tire iron and the engine was easy to lift about 7/8". Also notice alot of slop in the drive train when reapplying throttle at highway speeds, but no noise. Any thoughts on what else to do at the same time, since the car will be ALL OVER the driveway for a while? Thanks in advance for aly/all comments. Chuck
