I know Ferodo makes some very good motorcycle pads but not sure about cars, I would guess they are good based on their motorcycle reputation.
As far as cryo treatment, I pay only $50 Canadian per pair of rotors from a local place, I'm lucky they are so close. Cryo requires special equipment and the number of locations are very limited. I have seen ads in performance magazines but I know Carbotech sells cryoed rotors but he would sub that work out. Ask them what they charge. Cryo is becoming very popular in racing circles for treating everything from rotors to gears, axles, pistons, rods, cranks...etc.
Rotor life has a lot to do with the driver. Do they ride the brakes a lot, do they do a lot of city driving or mostly highway, etc. My Aero has about 54,000 miles, 87000 km and I think the rotors are original but they do look very worn (thin) but have never warped on me.
