Well JJ,

the CSE was Saab number four for me. The Aero is number three. All of my Saabs but the CSE were 5spds. The CSE had problems like no Saab I've known. Everything: bad steering rack, bad alternator, bad DI cassette, bad air bag, bad trunk lite, you name it. When it went off of warranty in March I wanted to bail. And that was much to my wife's chagrin. She had really fallen in love with that 200 hp Saab turbo. She was pissed. I had actually put the Aero up for sale on the SaabNet. When my wife realized how valuable the Aero was she finally relanted and let me trade in her CSE for the Audi allroad. The allroad quattro is a kick ass vehicle with an engine an Aero man can love, a 250 hp twin turbo V6 kick ass 2.7 liter engine. Man, give me that and quattro to get it to the ground WOW! Kick ass. Not to mention the Porsche Tiptronic 5spd with shift buttons on the steering wheel. I drove the car in the Blue Ridge mountains of GA two weekends ago for an Ultimate tournament and the Tiptronic was amazing in some extremely twisty bits. And the 2.7 TT pulls like a truck engine.

BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

It's not as fast as my Aero. More refined but not as precise as my Aero. More comfortable but not as secure as my Aero. And can you say 20mpg on the highway everybody??? But for driving off road with the adjustable pneumatic suspension the car will be perfect. Up on Vinalhaven Island this summer, with it's dirt tracks and log roads the allroad should hold up better than my wife's CSE did last summer. And take the Aero to the island? I DON'T THINK SO!

Anyway, I still love my Saab the best (but the Audi's pretty cool).
