UNDO Battery Cable.
Remove the 13mm nut that holds the wires at the starter from top passengers side.
Stand on the passangers side.
Use a long 3/8 extension about 3 foot long with a swivel and a 17mm socket.
Loosen the oil cap retaining clip and slide the extension between it and the intake manifold till you reach the top mounting nut on the back side of the starter.
Go under the car and wrench the bottom 17mm nut off. It retains a bracket that holds the wires too.
Pull starter out between the frame and exhaust pipe. There is a big rubber power steering hose that partly obstructs removal ...Just push it to the side as you squeeze the starter out.
Grease the studs before you install the new starter mounting nuts, You or I might have to go back in there someday.
