If it provides better lubrication when cold and does not degrade performance at normal temps, then why do they even continue with 5W, 10W, and 15W? Is this simply because it's what we're used to using? I continue to use Mobil One 10W-30 year round, but am now thinking that something thinner would be in order for this winter.
