I actually just replaced the batt cables in my 9kt.... Alright it was more of an offshot of an amp wiring project but I did it anyway seemed the thing to do while I had the stuff handy. If you want a really good flow cable go to a car audio store and get some batery cable there (i used 4 gauge wire all around). By far it going to be the best quality you can get, also you can get gold plated ring terminals and uprated battery posts to aid in current transfer. They will be able to answer any questions about size and techneque in putting the cables together. All of that might have been a little bit of overkill but even on cold mornings my car starts right up and voltage reads 12.5. Also I replaced the + distribution block mounted on the side of the batery tray and jumped from the 8 guage that was stock to a 4 gauge feed. I also replaced the batt to chasis ground with 4 gauge. On an aside note the sound from the amplifer is noticebly better now also.
