I bought my 93 CS new and still have the original shocks and struts in it. Heck, I also have the original clutch in the thing.

Been thinking about replacing them only because of the mileage. They seem to work fine and pass the rock test. They do seem a little softer.

My brother-in-law bought a 93 Ford Taurus wagon for about what I bought my SAAB for and at the same time. He just made a junk trade-in of his car for $500 with a dying tranny at 98K while my machine whizzes along and looks like new. I paid $24,750 for it with 0% financing and 3 years all scheduled maintainence free on SAAB (from Lighthouse Motors, formerly of Danbury, CT - now out of business).
