I had my 91 9k in for service a while back and they loaned me a new 9-5 V6. What a nice car! I drove it around all day, (about 100 miles) and it occurred to me as I was returning that my car might be a bit of a let down after driving a new one. But as I drove away in my car I was amazed at how nice it still drives. The 9-5 is really nice but when it comes down to it I'd much rather have my car and a check for $35,000--which is about what it would cost to trade.
